​Our Process

To ensure our availability, it is recommended that you contact us 6 months to 18 months out from your wedding date using our online Consultation Form HERE. Once we receive your form, we will contact you within 2-3 business days for a Complimentary Phone Consultation, to discuss your wedding flowers, overall vision, and desired feel for your wedding day.

Complimentary Phone Consultation (15-30):
Once we receive your Contact Form through our website, we will schedule a phone consultation to fine tune the details. Phone consultations typically last 15-30 minutes. Please feel free to share any Inspiration Photos via email or by inviting us to your Pinterest page. It is best to have 1-3 photos for each of the following categories: Bridal Party/Personal Florals (i.e. Bridal Bouquet, Boutonniere, Hair Florals), Ceremony (i.e. Arch/Backdrop, Aisle Decor, Altar Arrangements), Reception (Centerpieces, Entryway/Welcome Table Designs, etc.). Together, we will discuss the best colors and florals for your special day. 
Within 3 business days we will provide a quote range via email based upon the details discussed during the phone consultation. We ask you to contact us within 3 weeks to retain our services if you are happy with your quote. A 20% non-refundable retainer fee is required to retain/book our services.

Face-to-Face Consultation (30 mins-2 hrs):
Our face-to face consultations are reserved for couples who are planning a full production wedding with a Wedding Planner and/or couples who have already retained our services. Your Face-to-Face Consultation may occur in-person or via video call (Zoom, etc.). During this consultation, we will discuss your overall vision for your wedding/event floral and décor. We encourage you to bring along or share any fabric swatches/colors, inspiration photos, and other items that may assist in conveying your vision and style to us. Within 1 week following this free consultation, we will provide you with a complete Custom Floral Proposal and Service Agreement for your review, detailing the floral/décor items you have requested.

***Face-to-Face Consultations may also be purchased by potential clients who have not yet retained our services at the rate of $50 for up to 1 hour. Your consultation fee will credited back to you should you choose to retain/book our services.


​Event Design Consultation

If you are looking for more extensive assistance with choosing your floral and décor, we invite you to schedule a Design Consultation. The Design Consultation starts off with a Face-to-Face 1- 3hr consultation where we will design and style your wedding day with detail. It is 3-part consultation.

Part One: Together we will create a mood and style board to help you visualize and make choices about your overall look, feel, color, textures, and design of your wedding day florals and decor.  The couple will be provided with visual ideas to make preliminary decisions about the look that they want for Personal flowers, Ceremony flowers, and Reception flowers, as well as there Decor such as Table Linens, Place Settings, Drapery, and Uplighting.

Part Two: Within 1-2 weeks, a second consultation (usually a phone or video consult) takes place for the couple to convey their preliminary thoughts and decisions about the visual style board.

Part Three: A third consultation (In-Person or Video Call) is scheduled to view samples of 1-2 of their choices and make final decisions to be included on the floral proposal.  
The starting cost of the Design Consultation is $350 (paid prior to the initial consultation), of which $175 will be applied towards the retainer fee, should you decide to book with us.


Securing your date with M. Dawn

In order to secure your date with us, we require your approval of the floral proposal and signed service agreement, as well as a non-refundable retainer fee of $300 or 20% (whichever is greater) of the total estimated balance on the floral proposal. This will reserve M. Dawn Floral Design as your floral designer. M. Dawn does not hold dates without a signed service agreement and retainer fee.
Payments may be made via Honeybook (Stripe) using your credit or debit card. Honeybook allows for installment payments to be made, typically 5 equal payments of 20% of your floral proposal total. 
Final Balance is due 4 weeks prior to the wedding/event date. We will contact you 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding to schedule a final phone consultation (or final face-to-face consultation if necessary) to review your current floral proposal to confirm all of the details and make any minor adjustments, prior to you making your final payment to complete your order.
